Greeting individuals who enter the hospital, the successful candidate will conduct a verbal screening ensuring individuals are donning masks as deemed appropriate and assist with way-finding and portering. You possess a Secondary School Diploma and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideally having previous customer service experience, you are able to interact effectively with others in a professional manner. This is a multi-site position.
Secondary School Diploma
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well with others in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision, a high degree of attention to detail and thoroughness.
Previous experience in customer service an asset.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Mature, calm individual with demonstrated critical thinking skills
Show an eagerness and capacity to adapt to change
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, families and visitors.
Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement of this position.
As a condition of employment, external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.
Must have the ability to work all shifts (days, nights, evenings).
This is a Non-Union position with an hourly rate of pay is $17.17 per hour.
