REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor of science in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years’ clinical Emergency Nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Effective time management skills.
• Excellent client counselling, interpersonal and communication skills.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• Current IV certification, including management of central lines.

Desirable Education/Certification(s):

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Certification).
• Successful completion of related Emergency courses.
• PALS, ENC (c) & other Emergency & Critical Care Education Preferred.
• Current CTAS certification.

Compensation: $37.93 - $54.37 per hour

Location: We have openings in both our South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville.

Number of Available Positions:

Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the ONA collective agreement.
