REQUIRED EDUCATION

Current and valid certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO),

Graduate from an accredited program

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Proficient in all general ultrasound examinations

Capable of performing a variety of ultrasound exams including abdomen, pelvis, endovaginal, routine and high risk obstetrics, breast, thyroid, and testicular exams

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Knowledgeable or willing to gain knowledge/experience in the areas of musculoskeletal, vascular imaging and echocardiography

Knowledge and experience in ultrasound biopsy procedure

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work independently
• Excellent judgment and communication skills
• Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement of this position
• Show an eagerness and capacity to adapt to change
• Available for on-call/stand by
• Available for days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
• As a condition of employment, external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.
